Today marks the 5 year anniversary of when my Dad dropped me off in New York City and I began my walk. To celebrate I’m releasing a brand new trailer. If you’ve seen my other videos then most of the footage will be familiar but now it has a voice over from Angelo Bowers.

Back To School

Currently midway through my first semester at school in 5 years. I am a much better student than I was at 21 and am actually enjoying it. Should be done and can resume thinking about walking in another year.

Here are some projects I’ve done in a video production class I’m in. With my experience in making films it’s pretty easy so challenge myself to make it more difficult.

Project 1 was to do a “soft” news story. I set out on a quest to find the best facial hair on campus.

Project 2 was a group assignment to make a video on how you could make the school a better place. It had to be 3 minutes long so I wanted to try to do it in one shot. We couldn’t hold the elevator for long so it was done in 2.

Project 3 is likely not going to be humorous so no point in sharing that one.

Two Thousand and Eleven

I’ve been back in Pennsylvania since early December working and celebrating the holidays. I return to Los Angeles next week but am unsure how much longer I will stay.

When I moved to LA I had only intended to stay a couple months. In February it will be 2 years that I’ve lived there. Overall I can’t say that I like it. I’ve had some great experiences but it’s just not for me. The weather is nice but there’s a general animosity to the people there.

After visiting San Francisco and San Diego I wish that I had chosen a different place to live in California but my aspirations in the entertainment industry lead me straight into the stink.

I will stay in LA a couple more months (until the weather gets warmer back East) and then will drive back across the country. I plan on finishing up my schooling starting in the summer or fall and will figure out what to do from there.

The future of the walk and doc are uncertain, but I got a nice microphone for Christmas so I can resume recording voice-overs to edit to. I also plan on making a tourism video for LA upon my arrival.

Professional Driver

Many people out there would not believe that I’m a professional driver based on my hatred of cars. Sadly I must say it’s true. I’ve been working as a delivery driver, and doing so is only contributing to my animosity. I work most days and haven’t had much time to perform stand-up. As a result I’ve been depressed for a couple months and haven’t been able to work on comedy trek videos.

I’m trying to find another job where I can actually get out and perform, which is why I made this animation reel.

Send the video to anybody who’s looking for animation work. I could use the help!

I’ll be back in Philadelphia for the holiday season. A break from LA is definitely needed and will hopefully re-inspire me to work on the documentary.
