Minnesota Wedding
Friday, July 10th, 2009In mid June I flew home to Philadelphia. I was home in time to see my younger brother Bobby graduate from high school. I also made a trip up to West Chester where my friend Jim, who walked with me for a day, started his own cheese steak place. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. The place is called Jimmy C’s steaks and it’s located at 211 E. Market Street. I was involved in 2 car accidents last month. Both times I was a passenger in the car being piloted by females. One accident was in Hollywood about 2 blocks from my apartment, and the other was in Pennsylvania just outside my neighborhood. Both accidents weren’t that serious but they’re the first car accidents I’ve ever been in. To have them happen 2 weeks apart is a little bit disturbing. From Philadelphia my mother, sister, and I drove to Minnesota where my brother was to marry his fiance Katie. The wedding was at the bride’s house so we went a few days early to help set up. Katie lived in a house on the lake so the ceremony was on the edge of the water. Here is a video of their first dance: My younger brother and I shared the duty of being the best men so we did our speech together. There’s video of it somewhere, I will post it here when I can get it.
