Mexico Data Mosh Test

Wednesday, November 18th, 2009

This is some experimental stuff from some of the Mexico footage I took.  I’m looking for a ridiculous song to edit it to, I want this to be my data mosh masterpiece when it’s done.

I didn’t edit to the song, it was chosen randomly on youtube audioswap so it doesn’t sync up perfectly.

New Featured Comedians

New comics up in the Stand-up section. This time featuring Aaron Hertzog and Hannah Boone. Aaron is a comedian I met when I still lived in Philadelphia. Hannah I recently met in Los Angeles.

Check them out!

I didn’t film them but they both had clips up online that I cut together. Their size difference is made even more apparent since Aaron is filmed up close and Hannah from far away.

Mexico

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

I spent my Halloween down there in Mexico. My Mom who teaches biology is on sabbatical in San Luis Potosi for a school year. I was there for Dia de los Muertos and her birthday on the third. We went to a few different towns in the surrounding area that ranged in size. The coolest place we went was a town called Real de Catorce.

To get to Real de Catorce you have to drive through a tunnel that looks like this:

I also went to a party on Halloween where I was the only non-Mexican. I wore a Mexican wrestling mask so people didn’t know but after a few Duff beers I warmed up and took it off. The party was in the penthouse of an office building, but was shut down after a couple hours. Apparently to throw a big party in Mexico you have to bribe somebody so much which they didn’t do.

I got an hour worth of footage walking and driving through towns which I plan to use for a music video or something. Should have 2 more comedians up in the Stand-Up section later today or tomorrow.

Enjoy some of these photos which are a mix of cellphone pictures and stills from video.
